In winter, St. Urban presents itself from its winter sports side. In 10 minutes you reach the ski resort Simonhöhe there are 5 drag lifts that offer a wonderful day of skiing for all skier groups. The ski area Gerlitzen can be reached in about 30 minutes, it takes about 45 minutes to Bad Kleinkirchheim (with the year-round open Römerbad ) and to the high alpine ski area until mid-April Turracherhöhe.
